Subject: RE: Competition Policy Review Panel Releases Report
Date: Thu, 26 Jun 2008 13:46:56 -0400

Joe--I might be thick, but how much did this 'report' cost the taxpayer?
What does it tell us that we didn't already know?  To translate this into action it should recommend that the government get out of the business of business and leave us to our own devices.  Just as with C-51 and C-52 ---governments controlling those that are innovative to protect their big business buddies?  I remember Percy Schmeiser being decimated by Monsanto--with our government siding with Monsanto.
Compete to win--while the government controls those who can compete?  Just sick.  Sort of like the report that just came out that the richer a person is the bigger his/her carbon footprint.  Well DUH!

How dare our Canadian Judges besmirch President Bush!

He tells the people the USA does not torture people. Strange while he touts this he wont strengthen the stance by assuring law is law. It is easier to lie like a sidewalk.

Smooth talking dude he is indeed and I am of the opinion a host of Americans will gladly see him leave.

To have Canadian Judges slamming Bush must incense our Prime Minister. How did our Judges determine torture has been used. I'd suggest lips were loose! I dare say Harper will "threaten" our Judges to ensure they sing in concert with the President of the USA. Harper has learned to demand zipped lips… gee I wonder who taught him this trick? Of course Harper can and will appoint Judges who see it his way.

Let me assure you that young Canadian stands accused and must answer for his actions. He should be and must be returned to Canada to face the music. I'm sorry to suggest US attitude and laws basically and in my opinion are one sided. This means they will get what they want even if they must play games to do it. If ones rights have to be suspended so be it and no-one should balk when it happens. So much for all the freedoms touted. One has to ask why all the body bags IF we are fighting to bring "democracy" to far off lands? A young life is lost fighting a freedom battle yet right in their own back yard games are played that belie why, in my opinion.

Need proof? Look at crime in the USA. They effect laws wherein if one pleads guilty they are dealt with less harshly than if they went to trial. Sad, but true. Judges in many instances no longer mete punishment based on a number of factors. Should they be found guilty they have to serve a set time determined by Legislators.

Why the need for Judges? That could change too… back to the days of the closest tall tree and a noose. To hell with a fair trial… he is guilty by mere association or worse the color of his skin.

Laugh… sorry it is not funny but that is the way things are in the USA.

Sad but true and to make matters worse our Prime Minister wants to mirror the same thing in Canada. God help the State of Canada.

Yes crime is on the rise however we surely need not act like barbarians too.

The Hon.Mr.James Moore CPC MP,
Secretary of State for Bilingualism.

Dear Mr.Moore,

Western Canadians should be proud that one of us has been recognized for his work, that us
means from Western Canada. Sadly we see very little benefit to CPC members appointed
to top positions, as all in Ottawa seem to have lost the obligation to represent.

Learning that you have taken over the task of looking after bilingualism from Jose Verner, one
can only wonder what that means.

Even in this Conservative Government, ruled by the Red Tories, the Western Canada has
not gained any power that is of importance in this Country least of all the opposing view of
enforced bilingualism, a dictatorial act that has cost many Canadians positions and possibilities.

The rise of the French language in Canada has drained much of the funding from the tax-payer
without any form of consultation, most of it to buy votes from a minority that fear to lose their
heritage present and imported.

Canada never was a bilingual country, regardless the political twisting of opinion, this dream
did drain some 972 billion dollars from our pockets from 1969 to 2005, that is the money known,
it is a mystery what has been used through departments, such as creating French Quarters
for the 2010 Olympics, for the sake of isolation.

So the question is "where do you stand" or is it as usual no changes as the party needs
Quebec even as it happens the cost of that will be enormous. WE WANT MORE is their motto.

Like to hear from you. Copies of this letter is going across this divided Nation, because
one is a better Canadian when bilingual and all others are second class Citizen, if indeed
citizenship means anything at all.

Yours truly,

Subject:C-51, CC-52

Joe--"C-52 thus pushes forward the SPP and other international
harmonization/globalization and unless stopped enables Harper to present us
with the SPP's harmonized rules as a "fait accompli" next fall." This is
the real reason for this move--and it matters not at all what we, the
people, want. Democracy, you gotta love it.
As for the Opposition not 'recognizing the significance of Rajotte's motion
is hogwash. They are on side with this abomination. They know where the
big money is. Remember when Dosanjh was Health Minister and we saw how much
money Big Pharma gave to his campaign? What makes anyone think that
anything has changed?
Health Canada has a dismal record of protecting Canadians from harm through
drugs, blood, honey and toothpaste, to name but a few. We blame China
rather than the organisation that is supposed to protect us from
contaminated imports. It is always after the fact that they cover their
collective asses. Remember they fired Dr. Brille-Edwards for saying the
blood supply was contaminated? Sadly we know she was right and the Red
Cross took the fall. Health Canada washed themselves clean over that issue.
They fire anyone who does not pay homage to Big Pharma. I don't know what
Health Canada's purpose is other than to protect big corporations. They
certainly have not protected the Canadian public. And this C51 and C52 is
just another example of the governments of all stripes bowing down to their
and our controllers.
Any government institution, like Ag Canada, CFIA, Health Canada, etc. are
there for one purpose and one purpose only. Their only aim is to protect
themselves and their organisation. Canadians mean nothing other that we are
the cash cow.
Once again--BIG BROTHER KNOWS BEST! And he will tell us so.

AND

Subject: [On-Guard] NAFTA and Oil Sands

New Democratic Party leader Jack Layton called this week for an end to
preferential U.S. access to Canadian energy supplies.

NAFTA "locks us into an engagement of our energy to meet American needs,
essentially putting in the back seat our own national needs," he told
Bloomberg News

Joe--Layton is right. Now, I have to ask the question. If we are held to
account by NAFTA, will the US see this as their 'right' to demand that we
produce oil they way they want it done? After all, they have done this in
elections around the world when the people did not select the one they want
to lead the country--they ignore the election! I disagree with the
columnist in this article--Canada does NOT hold the upper hand with NAFTA.
We gave our country away. Now are the real owners going to take over? I
find it passing strange that on CNN they showed all the mega oil deposit
areas in California alone. The US has more oil than Canada and yet they
prefer us to deplete our reserves while making excuses for not developing

their own.
