THE GROWN UP TABLE

As much as I dislike when the major parties push falsehoods, particularly on easy to fact-check things or lies that are completely contrary to how they've voted, I feel the biggest liars are the little parties.
Little Parties put out platforms as if they have even the slightest chance of forming government - they don't.
We know they don't. They know they don't. It's the biggest lie imaginable and they make the most ridiculous claims because of it.
The Greens, NDP and PPC should put out platforms that say what they will do to influence the governing party, what their priorities are, which policies of the main governing parties they can support, what a main party must support to get it AND specifically what the main party needs to avoid in order to keep it!
That way, instead of trying to delude themselves and their potential voters into wasting their vote on a Tooth Fairy Fantasy (except where strategic - yeah, I'm talking to you Hamilton and Vancouver Island!) that is never going to jump from 3 or 10 seats to a majority government they could gain votes and seats in a reasonable, responsible and honest manner.
And there's a need for that! Because they "knew-their-lane" the NDP of 1974 were able to help give us universal healthcare!
There was a point in time where Canadians trusted them to be the "social conscience of Canada" and I'd be more inclined to consider voting for a smaller party if they were honest about their chances and told us realistically how they matter.
We'd also be more likely to see minority and coalition governments, which technically provide a better representation of the overall electorate, and that could eventually transition Canada to a form of proportional representation that would actually work for us!
Then maybe these little parties could upset an election with something useful and relevant instead of just being a distraction from THE GROWN-UP TABLE.
