WIFE VS. HUSBAND

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument andneither of them wanted to concede their position.

The Silent Treatment
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment.  Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at5:00 AM ." He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece.

Subject: Are Canadians getting the truth

First of all appreciated your call, made the correction immediately. thanks.
 
Now your question about "Truth".

This has been on the map for years, Canadians between elections are
poorly informed about the majority of issues, that is why we have such
a uneducated reflection when an election comes. The majority needs
group leaders, heritage and union to make the decision, or carrying
voting on heritage basis, my great-great-grandfather was Liberal so am I.
 
Members of Parliament party sheep and the voter is nowhere near their
interest. The excuses that are handed out are stories how busy they are
in their local constituency office, dealing with peoples problem. My MP,
Russ Hiebert, pamphlet after pamphlet has only to questions over and
over "Am I doing alright?" "Is Mr.Harper doing alright". Told him, or his
office yesterday that he, or his office, lacks confidence.
 
Today we learn again about that governments should deal with the Nations
poverty, the same song we hear from one government to the next, it never
does change. For the simple reason that cradle to grave services don't
buy votes, as these are the largest amount of people that don't show up to
vote. The money is there, by the billions, but rather wasted on what buys
votes, one of them bilingualism. As statistics Canada does ask "do you
speak French" so they can enlarge the French community. Many Europeans
speak more than one language but speaking French does not make them
to be of that heritage. Learned four my self but does not make me to hold
four heritages.

Years of work, never ending. The northern European countries are
very obliging, many for a cost, that is north of the French speaking.

All that was reported in mainstream press was that this secret meeting on Mar. 13th was only the fourth such closed-door session of Congress ever held in the history of the United States. Very little was said by the mainstream media, other than to mention surveillance being exercised against the entire population.

According to this audio-only report, elected reps sworn to secrecy have already been told that the U.S. economy will collapse totally by the end of this year, that their government's funding will collapse in 2009, and that there will be safe places for the congress reps to go with their families to protect them from the outraged public. By way of reducing civil war to manageability, anyone identified as likely to be an insurgent will be rounded up "in advance" and held in detention camps before martial law is declared. The report finishes with the "necessity" of merger with Canada and Mexico.

Whew.

A few of the Congressmen were said to be so shocked that they leaked some of the details to foreign news services. Meanwhile the American press rolled over and played dead, not bothering to find out anything more than what they were given, nor to inform the public.

It doesn't sound like "conspiracy theory", as observation of economic trends shows us that continued downturn is likely, and a new "Great Depression" has been predicted based on the kinds of financial risk-taking and abuses that created the mortgage collapse which took down so many investors as well as home buyers. At the point where a majority start to feel extremely pinched, a backlash against the government is a natural behaviour, so martial law is being seen as the logical response to the predicted threat -- or maybe, pre-emptive response.

There is no terror like economic terror to make the public compliant; it worked for Hitler. After the German currency collapsed, people were more easily herded into warfare or detention or extermination camps and voices were not raised in protest among the economically-distressed Germans.

Reading those papers about the mentality of the German people at the time shows many parallels with the socio-political culture of our own time.

Having embraced gun control, Canadians are a mostly-unarmed population. It remains to be seen how the merger with the American population could go ahead, unless every gun-toting Yank ends up in a concentration camp. There are said to be many such detention camps.
